We use a cold mechanical process to shell our hempseeds - which are grown without pesticides or herbicides. We plan to offer certified organic hempseeds in our pouch and bulk offerings in late 2004, after the new crop is harvested. Shelled hempseeds (or hemp nuts) taste similar to sesame or sunflower seeds, and can be added to almost any recipe. To ensure freshness, it is best to keep our seeds refrigerated and air tight.
